Avril Lavigne pulls out of her upcoming tour stops in Asia over dangerous concerns about the coronavirus.
The “Sk8er Boi” singer kicks off a world tour next month in Europe — with shows in Italy, Belgium, France, Germany, the UK and more — but sources say she will cancel shows on the Asian end, startin April 23 in Shenzhen, China.
Lavigne is canceling 12 dates in Asia total: including Shanghai, the Philippines, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The hope is to reschedule the shows at a later date.
The singer joins Green Day and BTS backing out of upcoming Asian shows due to the coronavirus crisis.
