Hoda Kotb is getting married.
The “Today” co-grapple, 55, declared on the morning show Monday that she and long-lasting beau Joel Schiffman are locked in.
Flaunting her mammoth wedding band, Kotb uncovered that Schiffman, 61, astonished her with a proposition to be engaged while they were in the midst of a get-away as of late in Mexico.
“Actually we went on our typical get-away. We wound up having a little supper on the sea shore and were finished with the supper,” Kotb reviewed. “I was eating the churros, licking the bowl … he expressed some excellent words and got down on one knee and stated, ‘Will you be my significant other?'”
She included, “I was stunned.”
Kotb and Schiffman, who works in money, are guardians to embraced little girls Haley Joy, 2, and Hope Catherine, whom they invited not long ago.
“Despite everything we’re attempting to make sense of that piece of how to disclose [the news] to [our daughters],” Kotb said.
The couple has been dating since 2013, however Kotb concealed Schiffman’s personality from people in general for quite a while, alluding to him just as “Boots” on air.
This is the second marriage for Kotb, who marry Burzis Kanga in 2005. They separated in 2008.
